Jaguar XKR 4.2 S Special Edition (2005)
The Jaguar XKR 4.2 S was launched in 2005 as a run-out edition of the XKR designed to help sell off the last remaining mark one bodyshell models before the reveal of the Advanced Lightweight Coupe concept car that was to become the second generation XK.
As with most run out models, Jaguar lavished equipment onto the car, including several special paint colours, 20" 'Pegasus' BBS alloy wheels, Recaro electric leather sports seats in either Ivory or Charcoal colourways, a carbon fibre dashboard in place of the usual walnut trim, satellite navigation, performance Brembo brake discs and calipers, Momo steering wheel and gearknob, aluminium racing pedals and kickplates, Xenon headlights, and a host of other spec.
